John Smock began his management consulting career in 1970 and has conducted strategy related assignments in a variety of industries – manufacturing, distribution, energy and utilities, health care, and government. Since 1984, he has developed a strong and highly visible practice in helping law firms and their practices set their strategic direction and implement that direction. He originally developed and has continually updated our FOCUS strategic planning methodology. Additionally he developed, grew, and managed large multi-service, multi-office consulting practices in his prior firm – Arthur Young.

Peter Giuliani began his law firm consulting career in 1968 and has served a wide range of law firms of all sizes, nationally and internationally since then. While his skills include a broad base of strategic disciplines, Peter is particularly well known for his law firm economics expertise and insight. Also, he brings the invaluable experience of having very successfully served for seven years as Executive Director of a highly regarded East Coast law firm.

Joe Walker has an unusual combination of skill sets – as a practicing litigator for over twenty years, then ten years as a law firm managing partner, general counsel of a well-known automotive supply and service company, and CEO of a major subsidiary of that company. As a law firm managing partner, Joe was on the leading edge of law firm strategic planning, quality assurance, and merger integration concepts.

Tracy Eul, leads our administrative and support activities. She joined us in 1998 and is, in many ways, the backbone of our firm.
